Peanuts next to Nuts. This is Nuts.

One time I was at a football game with my beloved Father-in-law. He is a very giving and caring person. He always offers me stuff such as food, drinks, snacks, even the shirt off his back. My father-in-law, offered me some peanuts that were in his pants pocket. It was a very hot day. All I could think that those peanuts were sitting next to his warm nuts. I just smiled and said no thank you. Unfortunately, as kind as my father-in-law is, he kept asking throughout the entire game. Bless him.

Thanks Pa for offering the Peanuts. I appreciate the gester just not your nuts.

Shaved Hersey Kiss Ice Cream

Here is a treat that you will enjoy. Put a scoop of ice vanilla ice cream into a cereal bowl. You can substitute if your favorite flavor of ice cream; mine is pecan. Peel the foil from a 1 or 2 Chocolate Hershey Kisses. Using a fine cheese crater, shave the Hershey Kisses directly on the scoop of ice cream. Don't forget the spoon! Enjoy.

Happy Valentines Day,
Goodtime

Energy Bar Cookies - Stuff you can live on.

When I was in college in did not have much money and I did not like cooking alot of meals. So what I would do is buy one or two packages of Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chips, any ingredients listed on the back plus other things like Pecans, Coconut, Peanut Butter, Peppermint, Oatmeal, etc.

Many times, the extra ingredients that I would use like Peanut Butter and Oatmeal where ingredients that I always had in the house. If using Peanut Butter, replace out half of your stick butter with peanut butter.

Tip: Don't overcook your cookies. They don't taste as good when they are black. Try to cook then until they are golden brown.

I would usually make a double batch of my Energy Bar Cookies. This produced around 8-12 dozen cookies. Many times these cookies would last 2-3 weeks. The extra cookies were stored in the freezer or sealed in a cookie jar. Any time I did not have time for a meal. I grab a handful of my special cookies and some milk.

Cheers,
Goodtime

Peanut Butter Kisses

I am sure you've had a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup before and probably even dipped a Hersey Bar into some creamy peanut butter. Now have you've every tried dipping a milk chocolate Hersey's Kiss into some creamy peanut butter? For some reason it takes really good to me and you can easily control how much peanut butter that you'd like on your Kiss.

Here's what I do. Take a spoonful of creamy peanut butter. Peel the wrapper from the Hersey Kiss, grap the kiss upside down like a cone. Dip the mini chocolate cone into the spoonful of peanut butter. Put the entire concoction into your mouth. Chew and swallow. It's yummy. Try different amounts and see what is the best balance of chocolate and peanut butter that suits your sweet tooth.

There you go, a really fast snack for Valentines Day! For a more enjoyable time, try it with your partner in bed.

For the sweetest of the sweets,
Goodtime
